Wonderful illustrations and nice story of an old woman who passes her citizenship test. Her and her great-niece practice the Pledge of Allegiance together to prepare for the day Lobo gets sworn in as a U.S. Citizen. The author's note at the back explains that this is based on a true family story.Also, I like that there is a note about how the version of the Pledge we say today isn't the original.
