Review

This one was okay. The illustrations are what pulled me to it. I like the hard lines in the drawings. The repetition of Chook Chook Chook is good because I can totally see the little ones wanting to join in and that part. They'd have a blast. The ending is what kind of ruined it for me. Throughout the whole book she is acting like a normal animal, chasing away predators. But, on the next to the last page the people of the town give her a plaque for chasing off a bear. I just thought it was weird to bring people into it like that. Anyway, I'm over thinking it I'm sure....the kids would like it as a read aloud.
