Noggin - John Corey Whaley

Before Travis dies of cancer, he agrees to have his head be cryogenically frozen as part of an experiment that will allow his head to be placed on a new body in the future. He knows it is totally experimental and things that if he ever wakes up it will be FAR FAR FAR in the future, if at all. He is surprised that it is only 5 years later when he wakes up with a new body. The story takes us through his adjustment process as well as the the adjustment of the people around him. Especially his best friend and girlfriend who have since grown up and moved on. There are several tear-worthy parts in this book.
