This 1985 book is being released as a lap-size board book. The Greedy Python follows a very hungry python as he eats his way through a wide range of animals. He starts with a little mouse and goes all the way up to a huge elephant. But, when all the animals get together in his stomach they team up and kick until the python spits them back up. Unfortunately, the python doesn't learn his lesson. He heads straight for his next victim and beings to eat - too bad it's the end of his tail he sees.
Buckley's rhyming couplets are an ease to read. Little ones will love to read along with you.
